I caught the US version of I'm a celebrity get me out of here on TV last night and could not believe how watered down the trials were in comparison to the UK version.

There was some old boiler had to collect stars from a plastic box using her mouth only, the box contained bugs or spiders etc, but they were nowhere near the bloody star, and there were only a handful of bugs in the things!!!

Whereas in the UK version the celebs had to poke their heads through an opening, through swarms of mealworms, cockroaches, eels, rats and snakes. Or eat live maggots etc.

Then (US version) some bloke had to get stars out of a "swamp" from containers containing rubber snakes...RUBBER SNAKES, no wait the last one contained a baby python

In the UK version Jenny whoever, an aging reporter was buried 6 ft down, the "coffin" then gradually began to fill with water, as if that was not enough eels and rats were then introduced into the box (in the pitch black).

Has anybody else seen both shows? and what do you think?
