So, what is gasoline up to in your area?

Here in southern Colorado it's up to $2.15/gallon. I sure hope these new prices are not here to stay. If so, we made be seeing everyone trading in their SUV's soon!!!! Eek

Here, it's about $2.00 a gallon. I put 32 dollars into my Honda Accord last week.

Funny, we complain about gas prices when Europeans pay a lot more. (Or so I hear.)

Then again, people across the pond don't seem to complain as much.

Yes, but those Europeans are smart and drive little cars that get well over 30 miles to the gallon! LOL! I'm telling you if gas stays this high, We're going to see a lot of SUV's on the market. People aren't going to keep vehicles that only get 12 or 14 miles to the gallon. Crazy!

It was $2.16 a gallon in a little town between Chillicothe and Columbus, OH (I can't think of the name right now); and as of today, it's $2.02 in Columbus (although, I think Tuesdays are "gas sale" days, and that number will go up at midnight).

I thought I had struck "gold" at $1.93 this weekend, but paid $2.13 this morning.

What are things like in CA?

Gas here in Lincoln City, Oregon is about $2.31. Although you travel up north to Portland, you can easily pay 20-30 cents more.
(depending on what parts)

I have gotten smart though. I don't let my car get past half and then I fill it. That way it only costs me $16-17 instead of twice as much. Yes, I suppose it all works out to the same cost eventually but I figure this way It doesn't feel so bad on my pocketbook...if that makes any sense...lol

Gas prices are a joke!

I am so happy. We went up to Washington on Tuesday and on my way I stopped in Troutdale and got gas at a truck stop for only $2.05 a gallon! Yay! But the next day when I had to refill, we went took a different way home and I ended up getting gas at a Fred Meyer gas station in Tillamook(Fred Meyer being a grocery store) I had to pay $2.26. Which is what it is here in Lincoln City.

I can't believe the gas prices here now. Overnight they sky rocketed! Last week, I drove to work about 11:30pm and they were $2.55 at the Space Age(the cheapest in town). Driving home the next morning, they were $2.67! Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek Eek

Go the Chevron in town though and you'll pay about $2.78 a gallon.

Speaking of gas prices, anyone see the news story about how people in Iraq only pay about 0.05 cents a gallon?! Mad

Interesting and depressing. Frown In our neck of the woods, gas is $2.99/gallon....and that is DOWN from last summer quite a bit. Good thing I don't use much more than one tank of gas a month.

I have no one to blame but me. I bought a brand new Nissan Sentra. I let my son drive it. Big mistake! He trashed the car.

I now drive a gas hog 6, the poor man's Cadillac, Pontiac GP. It's hard to complain. I paid $150 for this car as a repo.

What I didn't pay for a car, I pay for with use, gas price.
