Didn't Blanda retire one time much earlier in his career over a spat with George Halas?

I'll say the same year - 1976 - for Charlie's Angels. Maybe the show distracted him from playing another year Big Grin

Batman first aired on January 12, 1966. Do you recall that it was shown two nights a week, with the second night being the climax at the "same bat time, same bat channel?"
