Value of money taken was less than 2.5 million pounds (Be 30? times that in 2007 with inflation easily) yet this has be exceeded many times since (and not been as famous as this robbery)Google search

George Burns died in 1996. I remember this because the Mrs. and I had recently met.

Catch-up: Yale was last crowned football champion in 1927 (shared with Illinois). Ivy League schools monopolized the trophy from 1869 through 1900.
