Ummm, I had two teeth removed by an oral surgeon before having braces put on (at age 13-ish), then at 15-ish I had a little mole taken off my belly that my jeans waistband would rub against... it was nothing but I was hyper-vigilant because my mom had had major skin cancer a few years earlier. Those are the only "surgeries" I've had. I'd still like to have laser eye surgery. Cool

My first need for stitches was for my knee when I was almost eleven- Skateboarding adventure in San Francisco when I should have been in bed asleep (but that scar gives me a lot of "street cred" with adolescent boys, so it's ok) and a few years later, I should have gotten stitches in my scalp following a fall from a horse (head wounds bleed a lot!).
My first, and only, actual sutures were placed when I was 18, when my finger was cut in a car accident.

I kind of like this one, so I'm repeating it:
your first need for stitches?

When was your first trip to the seaside or country? Depending on where you lived at the time

All of my teenager jobs were dring the summer, with an understanding that they would end when school began. The first one I officially resigned from was with Wachovia Bank (a predecessor of today's mega-bank) in order to join a family construction business.

Gosh, I can't remember NOT having a record player... but I remember getting a new one for Christmas when I was 6 or 7 along with half a dozen records including a collection of fairy tales, the soundtrack from Fantasia and Linda Rondstadt's newest record.. I think it was Heart like a Wheel.

First piece of furniture you bought new?

Ahh... Stewart (Stewie) Evans from Austraila when I was in third grade (around 9 years old). All the girls were in love with him and all the guys envied him because he was such a whiz at soccer.

A lot of these questions I honestly don't remember "my first" but this one I do.

I was in high school (11th grade) and did not have a driver's license. I went to an off campus technical training school to learn auto body repair. (Either that or get expelled, long story for another day Roll Eyes )

The instructor asked who had a license so I naturally raised my hand Roll Eyes . He tossed me the keys to a Maverick that has a three speed shift on the column. (and a 351 Cleveland under the hood Cool ) I bucked that car and stalled it numerous times until I figured it out. In the process I put a few more dents in it that needed repairing not to mention the clutch and transmission issues that later surfaced Roll Eyes .

If you can drive a three speed on the column you can drive just about anything.

Same question
