I don't like cheesecake, and I really don't like custard filling or pudding, especially when it is yellow Razz .

When ordering Chinese food do you usually order the same thing? If so, what is it?

(Myself I get the boneless ribs & fried rice or sweet & sour pork combo)

During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at bats a season. That means I played seven years without ever hitting the ball. ~Mickey Mantle, 1970

I take it apart carefully making sure that only one side has the frosting, then I eat the unfrosted part, saving the chocolate cookie and frosting (the best part ) for last!

As a kid I liked getting orange sherbet push-ups as occasional treats.

Honestly, would you be willing to do any of the jobs traditionally filled by illegal Mexican workers? If so, how much would you insist on being paid?

I would do anything necessary to put food on the table for my family. If picking beans all day for poor wages was the best work I could find I would do it.

Wait a second, I did pick beans (green) for a about six weeks when my options were slim to nothing and I had to make money. I got paid $1.25 per bushel, the same wage as the illegal immigrants working beside me. (Yup, they were here in the 1970's too) How much you made in a day all depended on how fast you could pick beans. On those hot summer days (when I did it) going all out was a sure fire way to burn up fast. Slow and steady is the way. The most I ever made in a single day was about $35.00, and it was hard back breaking work and a very long day.

No farms around here that I know of pay an hourly wage for picking fruits, herbs, flowers, or vegetables. They pay by the bushel. If you think you can "insist" on a wage when doing farm work you obviously have never worked on a farm. I picked beans until something better came along. I got a job on a lobster boat. Much better pay (About $80.00 per day) but the days started early and ended late and the works was very physically hard.

What was the lowest wage you ever accepted for a job?
