After ten years of L'oreal,(assorted reds, either deeper or brighter than my own auburn/bronze) I had honestly forgotten what my natural haircolor was, it's been about two years since I last coloured it....once there was a terrible incident in which a favorite pair of sneakers was ruined, after that, I dyed with my boots on.

How do you feel about puns?

My hands are stiff and sore and from years of jogging my ankles and kness sometimes hurt, but not enough to slow me down...I am an early riser and don't usually have a problem with getting going riht off.

Do you shower in the morning, at night, both or not at all??? Smile

With Daniel being gone I sleep on the couch bed (not sure why, but whenever he's gone I can't sleep in our bed), so I have to put it back every morning so that Nicole will have plenty of room to play.

Name 5 of your weirdest personality traits or habits.

Weird according to whom? Razz

Only five, well I have a lot more than five but I will give this a whack.

1) I won't eat food of any kind on the beach or in sandy areas. Given I spend a lot of time in such areas one would think I would be slimmer Roll Eyes .

2)I have a "thing" about fresh food, meat in particular. It must be very fresh or I won't eat it. It also has to be cooked to my liking (very, very well done) or I won't eat it.

3)Returning items that did not work correctly, or were not as advertised. I am willing to pay a fair price for stuff, but once I do if it does not meet expectations I will return it, whatever it takes. (I have returned trees, air conditioner (used two months), television accessories, carpet, furniture, and many other items. I have had a few "epic" return stories under my belt Wink .

4)I am an early riser. I wake up at the crack of dawn (literally) and begin my day. My houseguest commented yesterday how I was finishing up some yard work and how great my front yard looked. I had already made two trips to the nursery and another to Home Depot and finished the concrete edging, installed some new plastic edging in front of the roses, spread 25 bags of mulch, power washed the stoop, spot repaired my lawn with ten bags of topsoil, seeded, fertilized, and turned and adjusted then tested the in ground sprinklers and it was just before 11:00AM.

5) #4 brings me to #5 Roll Eyes . I am a tad obsessive / compulsive when it comes to a project. Once I start something I will stick through it and do it right, whatever it takes. This might sound like a good thing to some folks, but my wife thinks I am crazy sometimes when I am working into the wee hours, or outside in the pouring rain. Heck the first set of dog agility equipment I built about 7 years ago was done outside in freezing cold temperatures. It was SO cold I did not realize that I had mistakenly screwed five drywall screws into my thigh. I did realize it however when I went to lift the board and felt my leg coming up with it Eek .

I got more,,,, Roll Eyes

I like it, same question

During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at bats a season. That means I played seven years without ever hitting the ball. ~Mickey Mantle, 1970

Ok, I can't stop at just five Roll Eyes .

I am a very punctual person. If I agree to meet someone at a specific time and am more than three minutes late something is wrong. I try to compensate for most factors (traffic, time of day, weather) the best I can. I sometimes arrive quite early and just hang around until it is time to "arrive".

My baseball obsession, in particular my New York Mets obsession. Going back to my previous comment I just have to be at Shea butt in seat before the first pitch or I can get "cranky" Roll Eyes . One year I was ready to explode as I circled Shea Stadium's parking lot on Opening Day listening to the first inning of the game on the radio. This was thanks to my wife's insistence about the time we left our house Mad . I was a frantic fanatic to say the very least. On the bright side that was many years ago and we now leave with more than ample time to properly "tailgate". My obsession does not stop there. My wife has pointed out if I got rid of all the clothing, hats, and jackets I have that say "Mets" on them I would reduce my wardrobe about 70%. But wait, there's more ! I feel the need to watch or listen to every Mets game possible. In person, on television, or on the radio works for me. I have been know to become quite irritated if I know there is a game on and I don't know what is going on. Roll Eyes

Another habit I have that drives my wife nuts is my fingers. Whenever I am thinking, or doing something with my hands whenever my hands are not engaged in the task my fingers wiggle like I am playing the piano. I also "talk with my hands" although I don't have an ounce of Italian blood in my body Big Grin .

I never said I was normal! Razz

I am a clean freak

I have to have things (like things on the coffee table) centered or balanced.

I am obsessive about time, I do everything at the same time everyday and if it gets messed up I get way stressed.

I can't leave anything setting around..I have to pick up and everything in it's palce.

can't think of anymore, but I am sure there is! Smile

Good question...let's keep it!

1. I would rather lose a limb than be late. Seven minutes early is my comfort zone. Not six. Seven.

2. I am terribly bothered by people who break into line or cheat a bit in traffic to improve their position when others have been waiting.

3. I do not like to see food as it is being chewed - smacking and talking while eating drive me nuts!

4. I love thunderstorms! I would be outside in them if I didn't understand the safety hazard. Which leads me to...

5. I do not own a raincoat or umbrella. I do not mind the rain at all and simply get wet when walking out to my car, etc.

This one is fun - keep it going!

Like Koz, I can't stop, yet!

6. I absolutely must push the grocery cart at the supermarket. I will even use a cart if I am going in to get one small item.

7. I simply must return the grocery cart where it belongs. And I don't mean the cart stall in the parking lot. I bring it back up to the store.

8. This may sound odd, but I hear everything. I can tell if a television is on in another room even if the volume is down. I even heard what kittypal just said while she was reading this.

9. Some of you, especially northerners and baseball fans, might get upset if I tell you I put mayonnaise on a hot dog. So I won't.

keep it going...
