I asked this question over at HP and thought it would be fun here too.
My hubby and I recently rocked it hard at a totally kick a$$ awesome Tool concert. So, I ask you, What's the loudest, wildest, most insane concert you've ever been to? _______________________ Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

Glad you had a good time Jenni.
So much insanity, so little space I have been to a lot of loud, insane shows. One of the loudest ever was Ted Nugent back in the late 70’s A friend and I scalped tickets to Ted Nugent’s “Weekend Warriors” tour. They were second row to the right of the stage. We worried all day (Bought them in the early afternoon) if they were counterfeit but they weren’t. The warm up band was AC/DC with Bonn Scott When Ted Nugent came on it was even louder! He put on a fantastic show and literally tore the house down. During his epic “ Stranglehold ” Ted was covered in sweat (it was summer) and standing about 6’ – 10’ in front of me. He ran a pick up the guitar neck and then flipped his arm out and it felt like someone spit hit me right between the eyes I reached up to wipe off the offending spit and found a guitar pick stuck to my forehead. It was really cool and I still have it I could not hear normal for a few days afterwards. After the show there was a mini “riot” as the folks on the floor stacked all the chairs into a huge pile and were throwing matches onto it as security chased them around. (And no, I was not involved in that The most insanely dangerous concert I ever attended was a Bad Company show at the Nassau Coliseum, more on that later,,, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And their Wall shall stand forever So long as freedom shines On the splendor and the glory Of the Carolina pines. |

My ears are still ringing from the fourth row of Deep Purple in 1974, at that time the loudest band in the world.
I was in the 8th grade, and seeing the hottest high school girl in my neighborhood having sex nearby was quite an eye opener as well! _____________________________________________________________ The trouble with political jokes is that very often they get elected. ~ Will Rogers |
