Who do you think is the best of the latest crop of rock guitarists ?
I recently watched a rather mediocre band (Turbonegro) and was surprised and how much I enjoyed the playing of their lead guitarist, who calles himself Euroboy. Right now he gets my vote. "Get your kicks on Route Six-Sixty-Six" |

For fans of blues, check out Josh Williamson.

Everybody look out for Jake Bucher in the next few years. He's in my grade right now. An unbelievable player.

Dog-
I'll take your word for it...I just think MOST 'artists' are mediocre now--musical talent is watered down BIG TIME at this juncture.. |

CARTER GRAVATT
Everytime I see this guy play, he takes my breath away. He knows when to keep it low and let the rest of the band shine. But when he lets loose...its magical. He does a guitar solo in the middle of the cover of "Bron-y-aur Stomp" that is absolutely the most amazing thing I have ever heard. I don't know how to post the MP3 file Here's where it can be found, not the best recording, but I think you can get the drift Click on Bron-Y-Aur Stomp |

Sorry to sound so jaded but its all been done mate.
All we have left are new compositions by new 'and' old writers. There are more than enough guitarists to interpret what the writers provide. - Roog - |
