I recently saw a Heart performance on
PBS (Alive in Seattle 2002) and it took
me back to 1982 when I saw them live. So,
I have a question and a recommendation.
1) If you ever get to see them live,
do so... they are incredibly good.

2) Have you seen either the PBS special
or have you seen Heart in concert ?

Saw them for a three song set at a benefit show with with about 9 other acts also performing in '86? '87? They were, indeed, incredible.

I haven't seen the PBS special, but I dug their "Crossroads" session with Wynonna. I saw "Heart with Ann Wilson" (Nancy wasn't there! ) in '98, but had to leave early in their set because I was ill... Ann has an amazing voice, and they've got some great tunes. I'd love to see 'em again (with Nancy, of course).

Think I saw something of them live even more recent - it was also on PBS, but live in like the northwest or something - and it was Heart, not the Lovemongers or any other version of the band - very, very good actually, but absolutely sedintary in their middle-age stage presence. I suppose that happens. The voices are definitely still there though.

Saw Heart in the mid-80's, I believe--in New Haven or Hartford...Still haven't heard a female rock voice as good as Ann Wilson's--nor a rocker as PRETTY as her sister, Nancy

Perhaps Heart should have performed at the Super Bowl. Then one could say at least one group from Seattle had a good performance.

Good point--but those Sea Gals are INCREDIBLY beautiful--give 'em credit for that! (Nancy Wilson could have performed with them about 15 years ago )
