Yes only a 3 day trial and in the first two days you will need to hunt 5th level cogs (The bad guys) so you really don't get 3 days of play out of it.

However the first month is only 4.95, each month thereafter is 9.95 - of course there is biyearly and yearly subscriptions.

Chat is very controlled - everything you say comes from a script - can't use fowl language or say anything that is not in game - Unless, of course, you have a secret friend - BUT that feature comes with a parent control - Disney does not control or monitor what is said in that feature.

The game is not just a lot of killing - you have to go on quests, make friends and do a lot of running around the Disney world.

The Currency is the Jelly bean, you can make jelly beans by playing games (Like catch the falling apples, swim through hoops, run a maze) Or you go fishing where you collect fish and can sell them tot he pet store for jelly beans.

You also get a house where you can order more Furniture (Prices vary), clothes, wall paper for your house, paint, etc. You also can get a pet Doodle - which you feed, pet, and teach tricks.

They basic theme is that you are a toon, you make a character at the begining based on toon styles like Hardy-har-har or Tome and Jerry - You can select different colors, like pinks, purples, blues, greens - All festive. You can either make up your own name, or use the handy dandy name generator which uses words like "King Von Flappergast" - All around fun names.

As a toon you are in the process of saving ToonTown from the Cogs - Machines with such names as Bloodsuckers (Which are Lawbots) and Dufus (a Bossbot)or Telemarketer a dreaded Sellsbot - most of the names are pretty funny - and reflect real life, if you are a person who understands what Bottom feeder means when you connect it to Lawbot In order to fight these cogs, you get gags, like pie throwing, or spritz of water - higher levels you get things like Anvil drops (Toonish no?). There are Cogs in the streets in the first levels who you fight with gags. In higher levels you have to take back buildings which have been taken over by cogs.

The difficulty of these buildings is such to spurn one on to making friends to do battles with the cogs - time and time again the game suggests that you "party" or go around in groups to beat out the cogs.

I give it 2 thumbs up on the lack of blood - oh there is none. I also give it 2 thumbs up on promoting social behavior, I also give it two thumbs up for its humor and laughable puns and stunts and safety.

Unlike other Roll playing games, this one does not appear to allow player fighting/killing other players.
