On the Queen Mary's final voyage in October 1967, she carried two rather 'strange' items, significant with London. What were they?

Mike, the two London buses were donated to Long Beach to run passengers from downtown Los Angeles to the Queen Mary. I suppose it was a bit of a gimmick! Don't know if they are still there now. I'm going in August so I'll let you know. Smile

The deepest river gorge(7,900 ft) where the inland port of Lewiston is?

currently largest cruise ship, Carnival Cruise Line's 900-ft. Destiny, but the enormity of its mass. When naval architects compare ships, they speak in terms of tonnage rather than length. The Destiny displaces 100,000 tons of water. The largest vessel afloat, the supertanker Jahre Viking, displaces 564,739 tons.

Though I don't know the current position Freedom will put these well in the shade if the project goes ahead?
