If the edit mode was switched on. I'd Have to keep copying and pasting it wholly every time Someone makes a request for an amendment So We wouldn't be able to keep it tidy And of course it confuses us all if this happens.

That's how I used to do it. It wasn't that hard and I don't think it confused us at all. You pretty much do the same amount of work. The only difference is that you don't copy and paste it (which only takes a couple seconds).

Don't forget to put Gizmo's new location and Grumpybear in there.

Had an Idea where I can post(this list) on the Net where I can retrieve it should this get deleted by housekeeping or site closure
and that is on Google Groups which never delete. Have posts going back to the year Dot on the Net (mid 90's)
There is also a good chance of setting up a new group just for saving AP & DP Topics of importance
There is a secure beta Version of these where spammers have little chance of getting their "pearls of wisdom" published Google Groups 2 (beta)
and they have to verify your email addy before they allow a Submission (good idea )
and they have geared it towards the Gmail accounts because they can cope with this thing (same as notifications Setup on here)

PS I Found another list made up By Silja on Yahoo with lots of Old Jeeves members (and email addys Hint!) who have never "crossed over " To the current site I think there are about the same number there as on this site.
I will give the page address to anyone who can utilise it, and we can achieve the 2500 member mark soon on AP? Plus a few more on here?

There are 74 members of Silja's site and 33 members in Ruthann's site. Many of them are already members here. (I would guess more than half of are already members here and there are duplicate people on both sites.) There are a few that shouldn't be asked for various reasons.

I was thinking along the lines of being selective (keeping the Iffy people away ) and sending a "What are you doing now..?" grouped email to those who remain after this process ,including any existing AP members who have faded from view. posted early in APs History and lost interest.

Ooh okay. Yes, I remember her group now. There were a lot of attempts to replace Jeeves right after it closed.

Ruthann opened the site as a meeting place until we could figure out what we were going to do. When we all came over to AP, she kept the site open just in case we ever needed it. (she is awesome!) I only know of the 2 yahoo groups and the MSN group by Washad.

Do we have an updated list on the members here? Its been a while.
